Winter in La Cienaga and the run-down Hotel Termas is full of otorhinolaryngologists – ear, nose and throat specialists – for a conference. Amalia, whose family owns the hotel, is shocked when one of the doctors at the conference, Dr Jano, presses himself sexually against her in a crowd. The teenager begins to spy on the doctor and tells her friend Josefina that she has a mission: to save Jano from sin.
