True story of sporting triumph against adversity based on the 1993 documentary of the same name, about the efforts of juvenile detention centre probation officer Sean Porter to give the troubled young men in his care a shot at a brighter future. Despite the reservations of his colleagues, Sean inspires the youngsters to form their own American football team, working hard to inspire dedication and loyalty on an off the pitch.
