Exhibition On Screen: Degas - Passion For Perfection (12A)

David Bickerstaff’s feature-length documentary goes behind the scenes of the hugely popular exhibition Degas – Passion For Perfection, which drew large crowds to the Fitzwilliam Museum in Cambridge during winter 2017. The film travels to the streets of Paris to explore the artist’s frustrations with his own failings, embellished with a narration of letters penned by Degas himself and detailed written accounts by friends and commentators.
