Devdas (PG)

Stylish young man Devdas is madly in love with his beautiful childhood friend Paro. Unfortunately, the disparity between their respectively social standings slowly drives them apart, fuelled by the disapproval of Devdas’s father. In order to avoid temptation and his undying love for Paro, Devdas moves far away and sinks into an alcoholic stupor. At his lowest ebb, he meets the courtesan Chandramukhi who immediately falls under his spell. Yet, the only woman he can think about is his beloved Paro.
