Behemoth

A sobering documentary, which shines a spotlight on the ugly face of China’s industrial boom, focusing on the plight of the people of Inner Mongolia, where iron works and coal mines have irrevocably scarred the landscape. In the east, cameras capture striking images of a previously lush and verdant landscape now reduced to rubble while in the west, men toil for long hours in sweltering temperatures to pour molten metal.
