Picture-perfect parent Amy Mitchell is a sales rep for a coffee company and manages to juggle work pressures with her responsibilities to her husband Mike and two children. In the aftermath of a shocking discovery, a distressed and angry Amy publicly quits the parent-teacher association headed by Gwendolyn. Amy drowns her sorrows at a nearby bar, where she is befriended by Carla and Kiki, who encourage Amy to let down her hair and join them on an alcohol-fuelled night out.
