Doting mother Anna is desperate to protect her eight-year-old son Anders from her abusive husband. So she seeks refuge in a housing block where social workers keep an eye on the family. Anna reluctantly agrees to allow Anders to have his own bedroom, out of her sight, with the proviso that she can install a baby monitor so that should anything happen, she can be at the boy’s side in an instant. Then to her horror, Anna hears noises emanating from the monitor, which are clearly not being made by Anders.
