Shot in Colombia, Venezuela, Mexico, India, Israel and America, As The Palace Burn is a documentary about the metal band Lamb Of God. In 2012, during the filmmaking process, the band’s lead singer Randy Blythe was arrested on charges of manslaughter. Director Don Argott suddenly had to change tack and his film became a heart-wrenching courtroom drama with various twists and turns that cast a harsh spotlight on the music industry’s relationship with the public.
