As a boy, Francois is misunderstood by his parents Maxime and Tania. Consequently, he invents an imaginary brother with all the positive personality traits he does not possess, unaware of that he once had a half-brother whose existence is shrouded in mystery. When friend Louise discloses this dark secret from the past, Francois begins to learn about his parents’ chequered history including their first dalliance while Maxime was engaged to another woman, Hannah.
