Alone In Berlin (Subtitled) (12A)

Otto Quangel is a foreman at a factory who comes home every night to his doting wife Anna. They are devastated to receive a telegram informing them of the death of their only son Hans. The couple’s grief is compounded by the senseless death of an old Jewish woman, who lives in the apartment upstairs. Otto decides to channel his rage into penning an anonymous postcard, with a strongly worded message to defy Hitler and the Nazi regime. Anna joins her husband in this covert enterprise.
