Her pal Dizzee Rascall is also in the running for two prizes at the Novellos, but the co-performing pair have been kept apart in terms of which categories they’ve been nominated for, so there will be no nasty falling out.

The Fear gained nods for Best Song Musically and Lyrically and Most Performed Work, while Rascall’s single Bonkers is in the Best Contemporary Song group and his long player Tongue N’ Cheek is up for Best Album.

Unfortunately, neither Lily nor Dizzee have written anything about the nominations on Twitter, so we don’t have any handy quotes available.

Instead, Allen appears to be more concerned with the World Cup, as she says that “Panini stickers rock!”

According to our in-house football sticker expert, Allen’s enthusiasm might be down to her having recently bought the Panini album.

“This year, cunning Panini have top-loaded the most famous players,” he said. “Let’s see what she says when the swaps start to build up.”
