Young lion cub Kiara is the daughter of Simba and Nala and she learns to know more about the mighty Mufasa. Rafiki joins forces with Timon and Pumbaa to recount the origin story in flashback, beginning with Mufasa as an orphaned cub who befriends sympathetic lion named Taka, the heir to a royal bloodline.

Beginning with his childhood with parents Peter and Janet and supportive grandmother Betty, the film traces his rise to fame as part of Take That managed by Nigel Martin Smith, his decision to go solo and write songs with Guy Chambers, and the addictions which threatened to consume him.

He believes this glittering future hinges on a multi-million-dollar inheritance from his terminally ill grandmother. Consequently, M competes against the rest of his family to care for his elderly relative and shamelessly win her trust and affection. The grandmother is resistant to his charm and she makes exacting demands that test M’s resolve.
