Scheming Jack Skellington, the cause celebre of Hallowe'en Town, gatecrashes Christmas Town and hatches a dastardly scheme to replace Santa Claus as the figurehead of Christmas by kidnapping the portly man in the red suit. Meanwhile, Jack's rag doll sweetheart Sally tries to escape from her mad scientist father Dr Finkelstein, who has imprisoned her in his mansion.
