Darko Tresnjak makes his Metropolitan Opera debut as director of a lavish staging of Saint-Saens’s biblical epic set in 12th-century Palestine, which is broadcast live from the stage of the Lincoln Centre For The Performing Arts in New York under the baton of conductor Sir Mark Elder.
