Fascinating collaboration between filmmaker Jorgen Leth and award-winning auteur Lars von Trier, who made a peculiar pact: Leth agreed to remake his experimental short The Perfect Human five different times, each one to a stringest set of guidelines laid down by von Trier. So, in one version, shots have to last 12 frames apiece. In another version, von Trier compels Leth to work in his least favourite medium, animation, working alongside Bob Sabiston who co-directed Waking Life with Richard Linklater.
