Pick Of The Litter (PG)

Five Labrador puppies christened Patriot, Phil, Potomac, Poppet and Primrose undergo a rigorous training regime with Guide Dogs For The Blind. Less than half of the puppies enrolled in the scheme will be successful so the pressure is on for the playful siblings to perform for their handlers. The documentary follows the dogs and their human counterparts over the course of two years when the puppies must learn to protect a blind partner from harm and perform potentially life-saving actions.
