Rafi works in Mumbai as a street photographer to pay off an outstanding family debt. His grandmother repeatedly pressures him to find a nice girl. In order to placate her, Rafi sends her a picture of a stranger called Miloni and foolishly claims the girl is his fiancee. The news is music to grandmother's ears and she prepares to visit Rafi and meet his beloved. Rather than admit his lie, Rafi tracks down Miloni and persuades her to pretend to be his girlfriend.
