Downtrodden bank worker Peter Riordan is stuck in a rut in Manchester, arguably more interested in the daily weather than the late repayments and financial woes of his customers. When a clash of workplace cultures compels Peter to take early retirement, he decides to broaden his horizons by visiting his ex-pat brother Daniel, who now resides in Benidorm. Curiously, Daniel appears to have vanished so Peter searches for clues, encountering a motley crew of colourful characters.
