Vince used to be a member of hugely successful five-strong boy band Stereo Dream. Time has not been kind to Vince and he busks on the streets of Peckham in South London. By chance, Vince meets talented drummer Stevie and they former a musical double-act called the Tin Men. The new band gets exposure and fame-hungry Vince realises he has a rare opportunity to reclaim the celebrity of the past. However, Stevie is ill-equipped to deal with the pressures of live performance.
