Bobby Dupea works on as a rigger on the oil wells, returning home to his waitress girlfriend, Rayette Dipesto, who has just found out that she is pregnant. Bobby isn’t sure that he is ready or indeed capable of fatherhood, unlike his best mate Elton, who has the whole family routine down pat. Feeling suffocated, Bobby has a fling with Betty. The sex is wild and fun but the relationship doesn’t really satisfy Bob and he continues to search for the missing spark.
