Eric Ravilious: Drawn To War (PG)

Born in London and raised in Sussex, painter Eric Ravilious was hired as a war artist during the Second World War and became the first to die in active service when his aircraft crashed in 1942 off the coast of Iceland. Made with the blessing and support of the Ravilious Estate, this is the first feature-length documentary devoted entirely to the artist and his output. Rare archive footage and previously unseen private correspondence allow Ravilious to recount his story in his words.
