Celebrated director Dominic Dromgoole launches his Oscar Wilde Season, comprising the writer’s four great Victorian plays, with a pithy drama about the unfulfilled expectations of women during the era. The story entwines the fates of an earnest young American woman and a louche English lord at a house party, and stars Eve Best, Eleanor Bron, Anne Reid and William Gaunt.
