In early October 2004, chart-topping rap act the Beastie Boys returned to their home city of New York to perform a sold-out concert at the world-famous Madison Square Garden, the final date of the Challah At Your Boy tour. To celebrate this homecoming, the band contacted fans and asked for 50 willing volunteers, seated at various points around the auditorium, to film the entire concert on handheld digital cameras. The rules were loose: begin shooting when the lights went down and hit the stop button after the encore. Volunteers could film the stage, the audience or anything that caught their eye - nothing was off limits.
