Southside of the Thames between Albert and Chelsea bridge, closest tube station Sloane Square, closest rail station Battersea Park or Queenstown Road. Opened in 1858, the park features a small children’s zoo, a boating lake and several outdoor sporting facilities including tennis courts and football pitches. The park also features the London Peace Pagoda, which was erected in 1985.
Opening Times: The official opening times for the Park are 8am to dusk, although you will often find the gates open earlier (if you want an early morning run) and some gates are left open later to allow users of the All-Weather pitches and other event venues to play a bit later.
