Through a reconstruction of his laboratory, displays and video, visitors can observe and uncover secrets of Alexander Fleming’s discovery of penicillin in 1928. Medical museum staff is also available for group talks on the history of medicine. Open Mon – Thurs 10:00 – 13:00; Mon – Thurs 14:00 – 17:00 and Fri 10:00 – 17:00 by appointment; Small admission charge.
