Office worker Kris is kidnapped and subjected to a strange operation by a thief, who pilfers her life savings and leaves her infected with an experimental drug. When she eventually awakes from her hallucinogenic stupour, Kris has no recollection of her ordeal. She is fired from her job and struggles to make sense of her fractured memories. Teetering on the brink of insanity, Kris encounters former stockbroker Jeff, who might have been a victim of the same procedure.
