Love birds Keshav and Jaya live in two villages near Mathura. The majority of households do not have access to lavatories and residents defecate in public areas, which poses severe health risks. Keshav and Jaya marry but, on the first day of wedded bliss, the bride discovers that there is no toilet in her husband’s house. An argument ensues about age-old traditions and Jaya angrily walks out on her other half.
