A cleaning job leads struggling single mother Kate Sullivan to a yacht owned by obscenely rich and arrogant playboy Leonardo Montenegro. He throws Kate off the boat when she refuses to do his bidding and soon after, Leonardo tumbles unseen into the water. He washes up in a hospital with a nasty bout of amnesia. Kate hatches a cunning plan with her good friend Teresa to exact a fitting revenge on Leonardo. She exploits his lapsed memory to pose as the playboy’s wife.
