Chris Stamp and Kit Lambert were filmmakers from very different backgrounds, who decided to work together to make an underground movie inspired by the burgeoning 1960s youth culture. In the process, they became mentors and managers of The Who. This affectionate and revealing documentary relives the rise of two unlikely music mavens, including contributions from Lambert and Stamp as well as Roger Daltrey, Pete Townshend and other friends from the era.
