Graphic novelist Clay Riddell steps off his flight to Boston and walks into a blood-spattered nightmare. A mysterious signal, broadcast to mobile handsets around the world, has created legions of flesh-hungry predators, who will stop at nothing to feast on the survivors of the apocalypse. Clay manages to escape with the help of plucky train conductor Tom McCourt. They eventually cross paths with Clay’s upstairs neighbour Alice, and the trio embarks on a kamikaze quest to locate a safe zone.
