License.About £3 is all it takes to check out the second year of the Canary Wharf Film Festival, featuring work from some of the world's best talents in short film. All entries for the 2008 programme will be less than 15 minutes long. Check out titles like Death of the Revolution, from up-and-coming filmmakers the Blaine Brothers, or Bulk Haul, directed by Lilly LaMia.

The festival aims to merge the commercial prestige of Canary Wharf (the area is home to Barclays, HSBC and Reuters) and its growing creative community. A weekend line-up with Q&As with top directors and special selections from the Rushes Soho Shorts Festival is sure to make a good start.
