26 year old bailed until September for suspected criminal damage
A MAN HAS been arrested in connection with the so-called
Peckham Terminator incident.
A Metropolitan police spokesperson released a statement that said: "On Saturday 7 August a 26-year-old man handed himself in at a south London police station and was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage. He was then transferred to a different south London police station where he was later bailed until early September."
Since first being posted a little over a week ago, the video depicting the incident has gone viral and has now been viewed by more than half a million people. And during that time the question on everyones lips has been 'Who is the Peckham Terminator'?
Reaction to the video has been mixed with some accusing the man on the bus of racism, others making homophobic comments about him, while many have lauded him as the 'Peckham Terminator' in reference to him appearing to 'walk through' the glass door of a bus.
