The Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew offers a great day out. Its huge 300 acres, located on the West of London, host some fascinating sights, which will fill you with wonder. Explore the magnificent glasshouses and discover fascinating treats like, the oldest plant in the world, or the tallest indoor plant; along with over 9000 other plants from deserts, rainforests and mountain cliffs. The Gardens' scale is unmatched - there are over 40,000 living plants, as well as 40 listed buildings, including the famous Pagoda, Kew Palace and our favourite; The Orangery. It is not just plants at Kew; you'll also uncover over 200 years of rich history, starting with its Georgian roots. The Gardens have some stunning recent additions, such as the Sackler Lake Crossing and the Davies Alpine House.
