Kokone Morikawa should be preparing for her university examinations but she just can't muster the energy to study. Instead Kokone drifts off to sleep where she takes on the role of Ancien, daughter to a king in a realm under threat from a wicked adversary. This seductive fantasy world blurs with reality when Kokone's mechanic father, Momotaro, is arrested. Before he is taken away, Momotaro gives his daughter a magical tablet that seems to be connected to the kingdom in her dreams.
