If previous years are any guide, tens of thousands of visitors are set to turn up at the LITC, which is to feature hundreds of professional tattoo artists wielding their needles in public.

As well as live tattooing, the convention is also to host tattoo-related events including the premiere of Tattoo Nation, a movie set in LA, a travelling version of the famous Amsterdam Tattoo Museum, live music from the likes of Neville Staples (once of the The Specials) and a series of burlesque shows.

The 8th London International Tattoo Convention runs from today, Friday 28 September, until Sunday, 30 September. Ticket prices go from £20-30 depending on the day.
