AMY WINEHOUSE was questioned by police yesterday (05.02.08) over a video of her allegedly smoking crack cocaine.

The troubled singer was interviewed under caution for two hours at a London rehab clinic, where she is receiving treatment for her drug addictions, after officers received a complaint about the footage.

A source said: “She was not arrested. She is co-operating with police.” The police have indicated that their inquiries will continue.

Amy’s chances of performing at this weekend’s Grammys look slim because she
needs a visa to enter the US for the prestigious event. Amy – who is nominated for six awards – must prove she is taking rehab seriously in order to be considered to enter the country.

A friend said: “The timing of this is not great. She is desperate to get to the Grammys and needs to show US officials she is serious about her rehabilitation.”

The shocking video showed Amy standing in front of her wedding photograph as
she lit up a glass bulbous pipe – commonly used to smoke ‘rocks’ of the class A drug, a crystallised form of cocaine – and inhale deeply several times.

During the drug-fuelled party in her squalid flat, Amy also allegedly snorted “highly concentrated” powdered ecstasy and cocaine.

Soon after the footage was made public, Amy – whose husband Blake Fielder-Civil is currently in prison awaiting trial on charges of assault and conspiracy to pervert the course of justice – entered London’s Capio Nightingale Clinic to get help before moving on to a private facility in the city.
