Joe Brooks, who has been the #1 artist on the MySpace UK (unsigned) Chart for over a year, has announced his debut tour with very impressive early results. A few of the dates are nearly sold out just a couple of weeks after going on sale, with others expected to sell out in the month ahead. Demand is apparently high for the 21 year-old Southampton native, who has built up a staggering fan base without the help of a record label or publisher. He has more than 11 million plays on MySpace with over 100,000 “friends” and a sizeable presence elsewhere on the Web.

With his pitch-perfect voice, uplifting lyrics and youthful spirit, Joe has won over legions of fans despite not having an album commercially available. The response so far has been particularly gratifying for Joe, who began playing guitar at 16 and writing songs soon after.
Joe has attracted the attention of some of the most successful writers and producers in the world and has spent the last few months writing for his debut album, which he hopes to release before summer. The music industry on both sides of the Atlantic has also taken notice. Joe has received offers from both record labels and publishers and will be making some decisions in the months ahead.
