Fightstar have been busy in the studio for the last few months, and have now finished their third album “Be Human” which is due for release on the Search and Destroy label/PIAS on April 20th 2009. This will be preceded by the single “Mercury Summer” on April 6th.

Singer Charlie Simpson said “We can’t wait to get out on the road again in 2009! It has been nearly a year since we went out on a full headline tour and we are chomping at the bit to get out and play in front of our beloved fans. We have just put the finishing touches on our 3rd full length album ‘Be Human’ and for us it’s by far our best and most ambitious piece of work to date. We are going to be mixing up the set list with the old and the new and we are super excited about showcasing some of the work we have been doing in the last six months, all songs that as a band we are incredibly proud of. We have put together a great line up which include the bands Laruso and In Case Of Fire. It’s always great to get the chance to showcase up and coming British talent and these two bands are no exception. Good times all round!”
