Edna Dore

The actress who played matriarch Mo Butcher in EastEnders
has died, aged 92. Among many other roles on stage and screen, Dore starred in The Bill and a succession of Mike Leigh films. ‘She swore like a trooper and smoked like a chimney,’ said Leigh.
