Operations Manager - Social Care- Social CareDescription: Working for a growing care organisation, you will be responsible for the effective day to day running of the business and building a strong reputation within the standards laid down by the company. Responsibilities include overall management of the whole of the company whilst managing staff recruitment and training in detail. Duties and responsibilities • Responsible for the day to day management of the business • Strategic planning of the development of the business • Responsible for ensuring the business fully upholds the brand • Responsible for the quality management of the business • Responsible for the implementation of management reports • To organise and attend weekly management meetings • Responsible for implementation and execution of the business plan • Responsible for overseeing all aspects of the recruitment process • Managing the delivery of changes, developments and recommendations made by CQC • Ensuring that the Care and Quality Commission regulations are met • Responsibility for the legal and ethical running of the business • Smooth running of all aspects of the business • Dealing with all complaints in a professional and fair way • Dealing with staff discipline as an ultimate resource • Oversee, guide and take an active role with the disciplinary procedures, including dismissal if appropriate, as required • Achievement of agreed sales targets and delivery within agreed budgets • Making and delivering of sales presentations to prospective contacts • To attend networking events to actively promote the business • To adhere to budgets to ensure profitability of business • Ultimate responsibility for all staff including care manager/s • Strategic planning for the future of the business • To participate in the growth and development of the business, locally and regionally through various marketing exercises • Compilation and processing of payroll/invoicing This is a role which requires working closely with all levels of internal and external staff as well as projecting the brand of the business to new and existing customers. There is real scope to grow the role and business long term and make a real difference. if you have a passion for working within Social Care, have a good understanding of domiciliary care, along with the ability to manage managers and a team as well as a good solid understanding of how to manage a commercial business.
