Volume Recruiter- Public SectorDescription: Volume Recruiter PAYE £13.74-£16.48 per hour (depending on experience) LTD £17.42-£20.90 per hour We are currently looking for an individual for our public sector client who has a strong background in volume recruitment. This individual would be willing to be trained and ideally develop into this role. To support the Head of Resourcing by providing expert advice and recommendations to Hiring Managers and to support resourcing decisions to ensure that the Client recruits and retains the best talent To ensure that the groups procedures and policies are followed in line with the best practice. Key result areas: • To establish and develop a dialogue and relationship with hiring managers and the HR Business Partners to understand the key resource issues and associated requirements to meet both current and future organisational challenges. • To identify and support the business to successfully deliver credible, customer focused, cost-effective and innovative recruitment solutions using a range of techniques. • To promote the Client’s brand as an employer of choice through innovative recruitment material including advertising campaigns and by creating a positive candidate experience. • To assist in ensuring PSL arrangements for the Client’s recruitment suppliers are effectively managed, monitored and that value for money is achieved and evidenced. • To assist in producing regular and relevant management information, analyses and reports, present to HR and business areas as required. • To create and maintain talent pipelines for high demand positions. • To lead and co-ordinate all apprenticeship programmes. • To champion internal mobility through the utilization of the existing talent. • To take an active role in contributing to projects in the HR team and in the business areas. • To ensure that all recruitment policies, procedure and practices are followed and in line with legislation and best practice so that consistent and standard practice is achieved across the organisation. • To ensure the provision of excellent customer service to all stakeholders in order to maximise customer satisfaction. Key performance indicators: • Client satisfaction. • Delivers a range of pragmatic robust solutions. • Has a commercial approach. • Reduces cost per hire /time to hire and promotes direct sourcing methodology across the business. • Promotes talent from within the organisation. • Planned, organised work. • Has a good reputation for creativity, personal integrity, is able to think strategically and plan for the future. • Delivers all written materials with high attention to detail and accuracy. • Does not allow difficulties to get in the way of quality and final delivery. • Evidence of equality of opportunity and diversity in employment practices & service delivery. • Able to deliver a high quality results while managing substantial recruitment volumes and working to short deadlines Skills/experience required: Essential: • Experience of advising service managers on a range of recruitment and resourcing issues. • Solid understanding of the end-to-end recruitment process • Good working knowledge of Employment Law and HR best practice. • Experience of using human resources and recruitment systems and increasing efficiency by using information technology. • Excellent written and oral communication skills. • Ability to write letters, produce reports, manage and interpret data and make recommendations. • Identify and action opportunities to streamline recruiting processes and tools • Proven ability to work under pressure/to short deadlines and deal with high volume recruitment. • Desirable: • Business Partner/consulting experience. Qualifications required: Full or part CIPD qualified (or equivalent). (Desirable)
