Senior Information Officer- Public SectorDescription: The Role: Your role will be to ensure that this set of events raises awareness of the companies message on Industrial Strategy and supporting small business. This will involve working across and communicating a range of policy areas and priorities. You will actively communicate with delegates, showcase our offer to small businesses and the highlight the impact that the company is having to support them. Key responsibilities: o Produce and deliver a project plan, incl. budget, resources and evaluation plans, to co-ordinate activity across the comapny and its agency teams, and which uses the GREAT brand. This includes delivery at the event itself. o Overall co-ordination , management and promotion of the companies presence at the event including stands, collateral, staff and other resources o Developing partnerships and getting the most from a collaborative approach to maximise resources and understanding of the message o Prioritising and developing additional communications activities with partners for the event including more ambitious activity during the later weeks o Briefing superiers and finding opportunities to further involve them in the event and related media activity which promotes the messages It is important to note that, with two months to go, this will be an intensive task. The post holder will need to hit the ground running and have strategies to build relationships quickly and to prioritise communications ideas effectively based on cost and capacity to deliver. There will not be any direct line responsibility for this post, and you will need to draw on the support and expertise of a range of colleagues and beyond in order to deliver. This will require you to be resourceful and to marshall people without position power. The post will begin as soon as possible and will finish at the end of July (3 month post). The post will include regular travel to Liverpool
