IT Business Partner (Training)- Public SectorDescription: Our client is currently looking for an experienced Northgate Housing trainer. The successful candidate will have expert knowledge of the Northgate Housing system, and a proven track record in designing and delivering training courses. They will also be highly skilled in creating excellent training materials and reference documentation, and experience of working in a pressurised project environment. PURPOSE OF THE ROLE • Leads project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting activities for corporate projects. Develops, recommends and promotes the application of sound project management technologies. Authorises the management of small-scale projects. Influences the preparation and maintenance of realistic project, quality and risk plans • Leads on the development and maintenance of the organisation’s IT training strategy for the organisation. Designs and delivers training courses, and creates and maintains guidance notes and training documentation. Develops IT superusers. • Initiates and influences enterprise-wide business process analysis. Proposes and champions ICT solutions to emerging opportunities • Analyses business processes; identifies alternative solutions, assesses feasibility, and recommends new approaches, where the changes include major ICT-related components. • Provides support to all functions provided by the Lambeth Living IT Team, including Management Information and Data cleansing and management exercises • Provides an effective client function for developments of ICT systems, giving expert advice on the design of new configuration. • Functional management of various multi-disciplinary project staff, depending on the nature of the project (eg: Staff in area offices and centralised support functions, Legal, Finance, Communications, Corporate ICT, consultants) EXPERIENCE SKILLS REQUIRED: • Expert knowledge of the Northgate Housing (Sx3) data system • Experience of designing and delivering training programmes • Educated to degree level or holds a professional qualification • Experience of developing training materials, documentation and guidance notes • Excellent standards of literacy and numeracy; able to produce high quality written work with the minimum of supervision. • Has achieved proficiency in the role of Project Management which involves substantial project work and team leadership
