Sales Director - London- ManagementDescription: The role: We are looking for a hands-on, results-oriented individual to join a growing start up company that is giving online consumers what they want, when they want it (sometimes within minutes...) We need someone to lead and grow a Sales function in the UK. This person will have responsibility for sourcing new revenue partnerships and looking after existing ones – driving maximum delivery volume through the platform and customer exposure to the service. Responsibilities:  Create and drive new partner acquisition plans  Build team responsible for new business and account management and lead both by example  Represent the business at industry events  Provide regular feedback on functionality and the quality of services provided  Help to position the business as a trusted partner to retailers and thought leaders in multi-channel Required experience:  Expert level of domain experience around ecommerce and multichannel  Minimum of 2 years in and around the world of multi-channel ecommerce. Ideally with a background working around fast-paced, multi-site retail operation or working as a retail/ecommerce consultant with an excellent understanding as to how traditional retailing supports an online proposition  Experience managing multiple stakeholders including ‘C’ level executives, mid-level managers, third-party vendors and consultancies for high profile and technologically innovative on-line business solutions  Experience of managing large, complex and political customer relationships  Highly collaborative with experience working with product and integration teams along with internal and external partners  Good working knowledge of key retail technologies and ecosystems, and how they support business operations, in particular: Ecommerce platforms, ERP & Inventory management solutions, EPOS solutions, merchandising systems and web analytics packages Required Skills:  Hands on.
