Interior Designer - Hospitality- ConstructionDescription: Two fantastic and exceedingly successful Interior Designers came together with more than 30 years experience between them to create a London design practice bringing together over 35 prestigious designers with supporting portfolios of working on some of the worlds most recognised and well-known projects. Due to our clients’ rapid growth and increasing client demands, they have created a new opportunity for an experienced mid-weight interior designer to join their diverse, creative inspiring studio in London. Our clients deliver high calibre design solutions across the hospitality sector with focus on hotels both in the UK and internationally providing professional purchasing, project management and onsite installation services. They are looking for a mid-weight designer who will cover the following responsibilities with the supporting skills: Responsibilities Involvement in all phases of the design process including programming, schematic design, design development and assisting on on-site coordination and completion. • Develop innovative designs in response to the client brief under the guidance of senior staff. • Produce and/or manage concept designs, floor plans and elevations and technical drawings. • Detailed design packages and schedules for client presentations and contractor/suppliers tender. • Assist in visiting, managing and reviewing progress on site or at workshops when required. • Maintaining solid knowledge and understanding of existing and evolving trends. Essential Skills • 3+ years experience in interior design with at least 2 years focus in the hospitality sector and a supporting portfolio of original and creative projects. • Recognised Interior Design/Architecture qualification • Strong detailing and hand-drawing skills. • Proficiency and practical experience in the use of AutoCAD, sketch up and Revit (desirable not essential).
