Fifty-year-old choir mistress Halla is a seemingly shy and retiring member of the local community, who leads a secret double life as an environmental activist. She regularly attacks electricity pylons cluttering up the breath-taking landscapes of Reykjavik. Out of the blue, Halla receives news that her application to adopt a Ukrainian child has been approved after four years of bureaucratic indecision. The arrival of new life will compel Halla to think carefully about her guerrilla tactics.
