Van Gogh (12A)

Biopic recounting the final days of the legendary painter’s life and the people around him. The film shows Van Gogh as he wrestles with his inner demons, fuelled by the lack of interest in his work (his paintings would only come to prominence after his death). Orbiting Van Gogh are the people who both nurture him and witness his final tragic fall, including his lover Margerite Gachet, his brother Theo and his brother’s wife Jo.
