The Proposition (18)

During a frenzied gunfight, Captain Stanley and his men apprehend criminals Charlie Burns and his 14-year-old brother Mikey, who are wanted, along with their older brother Arthur, on charges of rape and murder. Determined to bring Arthur, whom Captain Stanley believes to be the ringleader, to justice and to re-establish order in the region, the lawman offers a horrific ultimatum: Mikey will swing from the gallows on Christmas Day unless Charlie tracks down and kills his sadistic sibling.
