The Dish (12A)

It’s July 1969 and the Apollo XI space mission is preparing to blast off for the moon. As the world watches events unfold on their television screens, a team of Australian engineers man their satellite dish, providing back-up to the transmitters in the northern hemisphere. The workers – Cliff Buxton, Ross Mitchell and Glenn Lathan – are ill equipped to deal with such a monumental event but carry on regardless, praying that fate will deal them a lucky hand.
