World weary journalist Jacques Mayano returns to France from the Middle East and is contacted by a cardinal from the Vatican. Two years ago, a 16-year-old named Anna, who lives in a village in southern France, claimed to have seen the Virgin Mary and her confession sparked an influx of worshippers, desperate to glimpse the same apparition. The Vatican enlists Jacques to determine if Anna’s story is true or a wild fantasy. The reporter accepts and he travels to the village in search of answers.
